Since founding SR Supply Chain Consultants, Susan Rashid has spent little time reflecting on the organisation’s success. However, reaching a ten-year milestone provides the perfect opportunity to look back on a decade of growth, achievement and impact.
What began as a vision to deliver high-quality procurement training has evolved into a recognised CIPS Centre of Excellence, with training centres across the UK and learners joining from around the world. This success reflects the dedication, expertise and commitment of Susan and the wider team.
From idea to industry recognition
SR Supply Chain Consultants was founded with a clear objective: to provide structured, supportive pathways for learners to achieve CIPS qualifications. Over time, this offering has expanded to include a wide range of training options, from professional qualifications to one-day procurement courses designed for those new to the field.
The organisation’s ability to tailor training to individual and organisational needs has led to long-standing partnerships with corporate clients, public sector bodies and NHS Trusts.
Expanding reach and accessibility
Headquartered in Preston, Lancashire, SRSCC has steadily expanded its geographical reach. Learners can attend courses in locations such as Preston, Manchester and London, with additional centres continuing to develop. Alongside classroom delivery, flexible distance learning options ensure that high-quality training is accessible to learners wherever they are based.
Susan Rashid explains:
“If students want to learn with us, we’ll do everything we can to reach them, wherever they are, using the most appropriate teaching methods and materials. Our tutors are first class — that’s reflected in our results — and we believe anyone working in business, commerce or the not-for-profit sector can benefit from our courses.”
A decade of achievement — and looking ahead
Over the past ten years, SRSCC has built a strong reputation for quality and excellence. This is reinforced by achievements such as ISO 9001 certification and involvement in regional initiatives supporting business growth.
While the first decade has been defined by growth and innovation, the focus remains firmly on the future. With continued investment in training, partnerships and learner support, SR Supply Chain Consultants is well positioned for the next phase of its journey.
