It is the final level of qualification required by those who are working towards MCIPS Chartered Procurement and Supply Professional, which is recognised worldwide as the professional standard for procurement and supply practitioners.
You will need to have achieved CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply before taking part in the Level 6 course.
This qualification supports those working at or aspiring to the Professional Level of the CIPS Global Standard for Procurement and Supply. Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and supply– This qualification is aimed at individuals who have obtained the CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma qualification and wish to develop their career into Procurement and Supply Leadership. On completion of the CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply students can then apply for CIPS member’s status (MCIPS). Typical jobs roles at this level:
The expected overall completion time is 600 hours which is the overall number of guided learning hours, additional self-study and assessment time that is required. Approx 12 months.
