In this role you’ll find yourself part of a global team of like-minded procurement managers and buyers, who all share a passion for creating value through innovation. You’ll be actively encouraged to exercise your creativity and powers of innovation and to independently develop your entrepreneurial skills. Your input to strategic sourcing and end-to-end (E2E) transactional activities will make a true difference to our bottom line. This could be via managing the price of goods / services, the total cost of ownership and also the quality / risks associated. The Procurement team manages supplier relationships, target metrics and much more to ensure we are getting the best price, quality, and level of risk for any products / services required by Philips
You are responsible for
- 3rd party catalogue management
- Ensure pricing and products are up to date and in line with our agreed rates
- Support negotiations with 3rd party suppliers
- Manage approved supplier list
- Contract management
- Ensure compliance to Philips policies
- Collection of requirements from different teams
- Guidance and support to internal stakeholders on P2P processes and other procurement policies

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join us for an 18 months, where you will complete your Level 3 Supply Chain Practitioner Apprenticeship, who is passionate about maximising this opportunity to kick start a career in Supply Chain. Assist the Procurement team in delivering an excellent, proactive, comprehensive, and compliant procurement service to employees across the organisation. Support the team in providing advice, guidance, and best practice procurement strategies, including identifying, assessing, and managing potential risks. Help ensure compliance with the Procurement Strategy, Policy, and Procedures, as well as UK Procurement Regulations and other legal requirements. Contribute to achieving cost savings and quality/service improvements through effective tendering and procurement activities. Assist in monitoring and managing contracts for works, goods, and services, and support the integration of social value benefits into the Environmental Social Governance Reporting Framework. Help manage key procurement information, including the Contract Register, Sourcing Plan, and Benefits Register & Spend Analysis.
