Riversway Roadrunners – 11 challenges in 10 days for Mummy’s Star

Raising Funds

Every year Greg Jackson, Director of Operations at SRSCC and his running club, the Riversway Roadrunners undertake a challenge to raise money for Mummy’s Star. Last year the challenge was 12 park runs, this year with the world on lockdown they are taking part in isolation challenges.

The Riversway Roadrunners have set themselves 11 challenges to complete over 10 days with them all incorporating the numbers 2 & 6 of the Mummy’s Star themed challenges. Each of the Riversway Roadrunners will donate £5 in order to enter the challenges along with asking for donations along the way. To view the challenges click here.

Greg explained his reasonings for undertaking the challenges, “There is a huge drive from everyone to raise money at the moment particularly to support the NHS, but this has left a lot of other vital charities really struggling to get the funds they need. For my part, I will be doing these challenges to try and raise awareness and any donations would be gratefully accepted.”

If you’d like to support Greg, the Riversway Roadrunners and Mummy’s Star donate here.
