A new forum for procurement professionals across Lancashire.
We are delighted to announce the launch of the Lancashire Procurement Collective – a new quarterly networking and knowledge-sharing forum for procurement and supply chain professionals across the county.
The Collective has been established in partnership between SR Supply Chain Consultants (SRSCC) and the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, with the aim of providing a dedicated space for those working in procurement to connect, share experiences, and access support.
Why the Collective was created
For many professionals, particularly those working within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), procurement can often feel like a lonely role. Unlike larger organisations, where procurement teams can collaborate internally, individuals in SMEs may find themselves without peers to share ideas, challenges, or best practices with.
SRSCC CEO Susan Rashid recognised this gap through her own extensive networking and was determined to create a solution:
“The more I networked with individuals in procurement, the more I realised how many felt isolated in their role – particularly in SMEs. They often told me they had no one internally to bounce ideas off when it came to procurement and supply. I felt strongly that we needed to change that. The Lancashire Procurement Collective is designed to give these professionals a community – a place where they can share, learn, and grow together.” – Susan Rashid, CEO, SRSCC
What to expect
The Lancashire Procurement Collective will run quarterly sessions hosted by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce. Each session is designed to be interactive, practical, and shaped by its members.
Attendees can expect:
Networking opportunities with peers across industries
Knowledge Bites – short, practical presentations from experts
Peer mentoring circles to share challenges and solutions
Collaborative discussions where future session topics are chosen by the group
This approach ensures that the Collective remains relevant, impactful, and member-driven.
Who is it for?
The Lancashire Procurement Collective is open to procurement and supply chain professionals at all levels, whether you are a sole practitioner in an SME or part of a wider team in a larger organisation.
If procurement is part of your role – and you want to connect with like-minded professionals – this forum is for you.
