SRSCC worked alongside the Co-op to deliver a Level 4 apprenticeship for one of their colleagues, who wished to gain additional knowledge and experience to become a Supply Chain Manager.
Throughout their learning journey they were assigned a dedicated mentor who supported their experience from the first to the last day. While studying, our learner successfully became the Supply Chain Manager and also passed their apprenticeship. After completion, the learner had already signed up to the Level 5 and 6 qualification.
The Team have increased their abilities and confidence and are now all successfully operating as professional Business Partners and members of Senior Leadership Teams in Commercial and DDaT Departments.
The Team also managed supplies during the Pandemic ensuring 100% delivery of PPE and requirements for agile working while installing the Oracle system, with the Apprenticeship being a key factor in enabling the Team to deliver this
