Level 3 Procurement and Supply Chain Apprentice

Job Status: Permanent

Report to: Production Manager

Location: Redditch

Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

Shift Pattern: 7am-15:30pm

Salary: From £15,704 per year

 

SRSCC is proud to be supporting Heller Machine Tools in recruiting for a Level 3 Procurement and Supply Chain Apprentice. As an apprentice, you will support the procurement and supply chain function within our organisation, working closely with suppliers, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure that goods and services are sourced efficiently, sustainably, and cost-effectively.

 

What will the apprentice be doing?
• Assisting with the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services.
• Supporting supplier negotiations, contract management, and relationship building.
• Contributing to inventory management, stock control, and logistics planning.
• Maintaining accurate records and producing reports to support decision-making.
• Gaining exposure to compliance, sustainability, and ethical procurement practices.
• Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure supply chain efficiency. What We’re Looking For
• Enthusiasm to build a career in procurement and supply chain.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and manage time effectively.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, grade 4/C or above.

 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
• Level 3 CIPS qualification
• Training carried out in house with regular assessments from external provider.
• Additional training carried out at providers premises. What You’ll Get:
