Job Description
Reports to: Admin and Customer Service Manager
Location: Head Office, Euxton, Chorley
Job Purpose: Working as part of a small, but busy team, this role presents and opportunity to utilise a wide range of skills and competences whilst supporting the growth of this Centre of Excellence; maintaining our renowned reputation and image.
Hours: 35hr/Week
Type: Full-time
Salary Range: £18,000 – £20,000
As Business Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Performing routine administrative tasks and assisting in the Course Administration
- Management including sending booking confirmations, creating registers and distributing course materials
- Processing registration and applications
- Maintaining various in-house data systems and CRM
- Dealing promptly and efficiently with telephone and email queries from students,
employers, suppliers, and staff - Dealing day-to-day sales enquiries, creating and following up sales leads as required
- Raising purchase orders and data entry for bills/invoices
- Ordering stationary and other resources as required
- Performing administrative tasks as required in particular those relating to delivery of
CIPS qualifications - Ensuring that students receive an excellent service from SR Supply Chain Consultants
Ltd in all aspects of our service - Assist in the development of the organisations marketing plan
- Carry out market research, competitor analysis and present findings to management
- Help to plan, organise and attend networking events and trade fairs across the
country - Collect and monitor customer feedback to report back to management
- Assist with the maintenance of content on the organisations social media platforms, webpages and training directories
- Develop and maintain marketing network with external stakeholders
- Support the office team and Operations Manager with general administration and other duties required by the demands of the business
Skills and experience required for this role:
- Educated to degree level
- Excellent time management and planning skills
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of the customer
- Able to work individually as well as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision and demonstrate good attention to detail
- Enthusiastic and flexible manner with willingness to learn and develop
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Knowledge of MS Office software such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role is desirable
- Full UK driving licence is desirable
