Report to: Head of Business Development
Location: Head Office, Euxton, Chorley / Hybrid
Job Purpose: To develop, manage and maintain customer relationships and explore opportunities for business development in line with organisational objectives.
Hours: 37.5hr/week
Type: Full-time Mon-Thursday – 8am-5pm, Friday – 8.30am-3pm
Salary Range: £19k – £23k + Discretionary Bonus Scheme
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join our Business Development Team; reporting to the Head of Business Development this individual will be integral to delivering the Business Development Strategy and Objectives.
Responsibilities
As Business Development Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing Apprenticeship and Commercial Employer Accounts and reporting on
overall learner progress - Attending Learner Progress meetings and supporting decision making and complete
any follow up actions - Work cross functionally to support Business Improvement initiatives
- Remain abreast of regulatory body funding requirements (ESFA)
- Deliver recruitment strategies in line with funding rules and learner engagement
strategies - Deliver product presentations either face to face or remote
- Collaborate with Marketing to support strategy
- Liaise with the Admin, Central Services and Apprenticeship Management Team to
assist supporting learners and employers with apprenticeships - Support/Attend external site visits/conferences/events/presentations
- Deliver the Commercial and Apprenticeship Strategy
- Support Bid Manager on external presentations/site visits
- Collaborate with Bid Manager on Customer Account Handover
- Report performance objectives and targets to Head of Business Development and
SLT
Skills and Experience
To be considered for the role of Business Development Account Manager, you will require the following skills and experience:
- Educated to degree level
- Proven track record of customer account management
- Proven track record of delivering sales targets
- Fast Learner.
- Commercial, tender, business development, sales, or marketing background an
advantage - Experience in stakeholder engagement
- Excellent people skills
- Strong writing and administration skills.
- Strong organisational skills
- Confident presenter
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel and other parts of the Microsoft
Office 365 suite.
