This is an exciting new role to work as a Procurement Admin Apprentice who will follow a recognised apprenticeship pathway. Working to support a busy workshop consisting of van’s / plant / lorry’s in providing both regular service parts and one-off repair parts to keep our fleet well maintained and fully operational. Learning every aspect of the store’s operations including stock management, ordering, invoice processing & electronic job cards. Based at our Nottingham site. Primary responsibilities include supporting the procurement of various commodity groups, services and capital requests. Process and expedite purchase orders for materials, supplies and services through approved requisition process for all UK sites. Conduct all end-to-end purchasing activities in compliance with company policy, procedures and objectives. Support the Goods-In area and stores operation as necessary and provide general purchasing support to the business, ensuring the efficient management of the administrative duties of the Department and Dimensions purchase ordering system.

Incentive payments for employers
The government have introduced incentive payments for hiring a new apprentice.
Employers who hire new apprentices between 1 August 2020 and 31 January 2022 could get:
£2,000 for apprentices aged 16 to 24
£1,500 for apprentices aged 25 and over
They can apply from 30th November 2021 and spend the payment on anything they need to support their organisation. This is in addition to the £1,000 payment they already give to help employers meet the needs of some groups of apprentices in the workplace.
