To compliment our full training and education offering and expand outside the amazing CIPs Centre of Excellence and leading the way with Procurement Apprenticeships, in 2014 SR Strategic Sourcing was founded by our Managing Director Susan Rashid and her business partner, Gary Tinsley.
Focusing on Continuous Professional Development (CPD), SR Strategic Sourcing has collaborated with many organisations and senior procurement executives to design and deliver tailored in-house Procurement training and coaching, helping organisations to deliver a business-aligned, optimally skilled and developed procurement function.
Both Susan and Gary are FCIPs and fully qualified teachers, both with extensive practical experience across a broad spectrum of industries at senior levels. Coupled with their academic skill set they realised their unique offering in the ability to practically support businesses in transforming procurement and driving results and train their teams was a great business model. Now not only do they offer bespoke courses which can be tailored to the Customers requirements and ran in-house for up to 12 delegates, they offer Total SDI – a proven psychometric programme to help Procurement leaders “map” their teams, understanding their individual Motivational Value Systems (MVS), behavioural patterns and reactions to the varying degrees within conflict situations.
In addition, they run 5-day Global Seminars held in Central London with delegates coming from all corners of the globe to explore effective and innovative Procurement and Supply Chain models and experiences.
Finally, they have launched a schedule of open one-day courses for both Commercial and Public Sector delegates, held in various locations across the UK covering Introductions to Procurement, Category Management, Negotiation, Contract management and law, and managing and mitigating risk.
